Salt Lake City offers a robust public transportation system, including light rail, buses, and commuter trains, making it easy to navigate the city and surrounding region. Travelers arriving at Salt Lake City International Airport can take the TRAX Green Line directly to downtown in approximately 20 minutes, with Arena Station and Temple Square Station located just a half-block from the Salt Palace Convention Center. A one-way fare is $2.50.

The recommended dress for Brownfields 2027 is business casual.
Mothers’ Room are available throughout the Salt Palace Convention Center. On Level 1, they are located outside Halls A and B. On Level 2, a room is located in the Upper Concourse across from Room 252.
Educational Programming
The National Brownfields Training Conference has over 100 panels, town hall meetings, roundtable conversations, lightning talks, and workshops.
Yes, CEUs for planning (AICP CM) and continuing legal education (CLE) for certain states are offered. Our team will also assist attendees with self-reporting their credits for other disciplines.
Registrants only need to pre-register for Brownfields University courses, Mobile Workshops, and the Community Reception. All panels, roundtables, town halls, lightning talks, open houses, and other events at Brownfields 2027 are open to all attendees unless otherwise specified.
There are no fees associated with Brownfields University participation, however preregistration is required. Participants can add selected course(s) while registering for the conference.

Brownfields 2027 will offer a variety of mobile workshops designed as off-site, hands-on learning experiences that take conference attendees beyond the convention center and into the communities where brownfields redevelopment is happening.
There are fees associated with most Mobile Workshop participation, and preregistration is required. Participants can add selected workshop(s) while registering for the conference.
